CWSports: Belgium wins World Cup, New CW Fantasy League, and More

The World Cup Knockout Phase has been filled with surprising outcomes, including England's defeat to Uruguay, the repeating failure of Brazil to France, and Spain's 2nd loss in a cup final. This, a new CW fantasy league, and more sports news coming up.

The fans at the San Marino Stadium was filled with frustration specially for the Portugal vs Morocco match, the Uruguay vs England match, and the Spain vs Belgium match. These were unexpected outcomes.

- Cities War Club Cup will be held tomorrow in Sakura territory, being prepared with clubs to be approved for the 3-day enduring cup.

Matches will start between 1PM-1:30PM EST. One leg will go on Wednesday Tomorrow, the 2nd leg Thursday, and the Knockouts on Friday.

- Next world cup, called the Cities War Summer Cup, will be held at an undefined date in August, at an undefined location. Albania & Croatia may join cup.

- A Cities War Football (soccer) League will be put together with made-up teams and players. 2 teams and 1 player have been approved for the league:

• Lechia Golub (known shortly as the Lechii)

• PiusNoobs FC

Raul will be the first player in the fantasy league, with a 99 player rating (only one permitted to have 99 rating, for now). He is yet to sign to a club and have his football abilities tested.

Submissions for teams are being accepted this week and will have a warm up league for May. However, the league officially starts in August. Player submissions will also be needed. Restrictions will apply to player ratings.

For created players, the following information will be needed:

• Overall Rating 1- 99 (this is average of ratings below, from finishing to heading)

• Finishing 1-99

• Penalties 1-99

• Crossing 1-99

• Passing 1-99

• Jumping 1-99

• Heading 1-99

• Position [GK, (Defense: RWB, RB, CB, LB, LWB), (Midfield: CDM, RM, CM, LM CAM), (Attack: LF, CF, RF, RW, ST, LW)]

• Nationality

• Club to Join (if you're suggesting the player to add to your cup)

• Name

In player creation, only 1 player can be above 93, 2 can be between 90-93, 3 can be between 85-89, 4 can be between 80-84, and the rest can be below 80. Player ratings within the range paid for will be decided by the randomizer. For example, if you paid within the 90-93 range, a randomizer will decide whether the overall rating will be 90, 91, 92, or 93.

CWFL (Drk) reserves the right to reject a player submission based on but not limited to: imitation to avoid budget cost in importing.

All teams will start with an importing budget of 500M. Creating players will be free, but importing players will cost depending on the rating.

Players imported higher than the 90 rating will be 200M, players in the 85-90 will be 150M, players in the 80-84 will be 100M, and players in the 75-79 will be 50M. All under 75 will be 25M. Submit your players and we will ping you on your budget.

Each season will be monthly, and the player market will later be implemented once the league gets stronger. Alliances can have multiple teams.
