State of the World Report - February 2, 2023

The second report of the year, this report will be a light summary of what has happened in Cities War.

The Fall of Terceiro Commando

After attacks of BBC and later of GUMS, the alliance Terceiro Commando fell a bit apart, losing territory in the process. Currently they're in a process of rebuilding, with only Athena and gawendler being city holders.

This process lets other alliances grow, like 104th Legion, 104th Battalion, Lechii and CC: Revival.

2nd Tourney of the Year

Today the 2nd 10-members tourney of 2023 started with a neck-to-neck competition between GUMS, Good Boys Club, and BBC.

BBC's neko captures Liverpool

As revealed by CWNews on Discord, the capital of CC: Revival was obvious and was Liverpool (for Reedy's love for the team is great). With a max, neko popped the 10-man border and captured the capital. This however seems to not have been approved by Josey.

The Noob Lore - Lord foog

Lord foog was an alliance that was created on the noob (also named alt) server. It had created wars there until the players were eventually promoted to the noob server. It currently is in the main server with a few of its integrants plus some of its ex-enemies.

Routing 100% of the Cities War World

After an incentive willy gave, the CW World was 100% routed this week. All cities were integrated into society. This also means more people that will be killed, and more genocides to come.

Viewer's Question: Is the CW Trading Cards League gone?

After not much investment and inactivity, we are not sure of the status of the league. Consulting Baxter will be best. The cards factory is still on, we assume.

NSTC- 4th Anniversary

A few days ago, NSTC celebrated it's 4th anniversary with...being inactive. Several of NSTC checked in on the game yesterday.

Cities War Football

After a big break, the Season IV is back on, with some novelties.

• Lubec Loser Lions and Classical Music have done better than expected, Lubec having reached within top 8 despite their name.

• BigCAS wins the Cup of War following a heated final with the Republican Kickers. (3-2)

• The Republican Kickers player Toazt was chosen Player of the Cup for his pivotal performance in the exceptional campaign of the team, which saw them beat Lechia Golub (3-0 and 1-3), Manchester City (2-0 and 0-1), and Albanian United (1-1 and 2-1). They had put up big wins and held back defense to not let the teams do a full comeback.

• Manchester City has by far a very big possibility (90%) of winning the league after being ahead of all teams by 15 points. Meanwhile, all the other teams are battling each other to see who will be part of the Top 8.

• The Champions league has seen a great comeback with Albanian United doing a full comeback against Autumnal FC with a 3-0 (winning in penalties) after having a humiliating 4-1 loss on the first leg.

• The Champions League is in the semi-finals, with the Red and Black, the Big Geese, the Sky Blues, and the Tigers of Asia battling to hold up the Champions cup.

• The Europa League also saw an epic performance from Republican Kickers and CC Mega Team, who went to penalties due to Republican Kickers doing a comeback. Sadly for the Imperialists, CC Mega Team won in the penalties in an astounding 8-9.

• The Europa League is in the semifnals with the following teams: Pakistani Lions, CC Mega Team, Another Name FC, and Arsenal. Another Name FC is expected to move to finals after defeating Arsenal 5-0 in the first leg.
