State of the World News Report - October 5, 2023

In commemoration of the 5TH Cities War anniversary this week, we couldn't do anything else besides make the much awaited State of the World News Report. Is there something interesting going on this game that seems dead? Well, there is one thing occurring in the underground, and with exclusive CWNews reporting we will bring this scheme to you. Ok, to be sincere, it's ugly and more with the "For development purposes only" and stuff. But it's something to appreciate (not much), and more with the anniversary coming up. Upto 6:23PM of October 4, there are 9,431 cities. And the one who has conquered most cities is jpvago with 7,618. There are 6 open tops currently... Heh, but who cares about that when we have better news:

CW Anniversary

For clarification, The date of the first post of the Cities War Reddit was October 6, 2018.

The date when the first player got online was October 7, 2018.

The Gold Selling Alts What marks this anniversary and makes it so special (at least for me) is a certain scheme that is intriguing, sus, etc. And we, CWNEWS, will be explaining it to you in a moment.

Alts is part of history, ok. Who hasn't had an alt before? (me.)

Throughout these years, willy has implemented measures to decrease the alting, with not much result. The separation of the realms (servers) is one example, although it was more to not let noobs be bullied around (which was a very good pastime). To be sincere though, there were alt farmers as well.

Now currently, there are rumours of underground gold selling alts in the northern part of the map.

Here we have Nanoblit and animeuwu in one alliance in one day, and Deci with Nanoblit on the other. Why? In the recently arosen alliance called The Vikings, we have the answer. The Vikings are an alliance made in September 23, the beginning of fall (hush Uruguayans and Brazilians, it's not spring.) They have alliances with Terceiro Comando, New Genesis, Euro Ascendancy, and Imperial Sakura. Their description is "We focus on Regional Wars but casual players are always welcome. https://discord.gg/2xWduVEwr Feel free to withdraw reasonable amounts of gold."

Their offer is that you would get easy ships, tanks, and atk stacks with withdrawing reasonable amounts of gold in regionals.

Now, what is the definition of "reasonable amounts"?

So you see that Deci leaves the alliance, then comes back 3 hrs. And then the withdrawing of gold starts. Then you see all that withdrawing from the leader James Jones "King of the Vikings" and building very fast for the regional wars. An amount of 9m in gold withdrawn since the creation of the alliance. Deci deposited 3m. We also see half a million in withdrawal from a certain Nathalie, 2m in deposit by gawendler, 2m deposit by best girl and 2m deposit by Bonzi. All of them are ex-TC. TC has the same flag as the Vikings. Deci right now is in TC.

Now remember the 2 random alliances created by Nanoblit, where in one of them Deci is involved? Very suspicious.

The gold ventilated into this alliance is officially said to be from TC. But it's also said it comes from "multiple sources" and people who are willing to sell gold for gems.

Question is: How much does James Jones pay Deci for this whole suspicious business?

These details have unveiled suspicions, rumours, and the following theories from experts:

• The Vikings is suspicious of holding underground gold selling alts, alts of Deci himself, and so Deci deposits the gold for the alts to be retrieving money from the bank and keep building like actual players.

• There are more than 2 alliances involved in this, maybe a big scheme of alts.

• James Jones sold his soul to Deci.

• The rumour that James Jones is Christian from NSTC, and he and Anzee are behind the whole operation (according to a source that both of them are from Scandinavia).

CWNEWS does not assert that all of these rumors and suppositions are true, but that this is very sus and needs to be checked, it needs to. CWNEWS will bring more details on this scheme soon.

CW Ballswar

During the absence of CWNews, there is a fever for balls, as gamers wanted them so hard. Well, there are some like Raul and Alay who like balls (like addicted to balls).

For clarification, we're talking about Ballsdex (although they might like the other type, I don't know...)

Anyway, there are rumours going on about a championship involving Ballsdex within the CW World, which is a feature Ballsdex itself doesn't have yet: Ballswar. Basically it's CW players playing against each other in a war of balls (that represent countries). The championship is under development, with Raul and Alay being the developers of the event.

Interview with Nerfnaut

In an interview with Nerfnaut, Nerfnaut asserted several times that UER is the best alliance in existence. Just cause it is.

Some will say the best alliance in CW is Tiny C***-owners, others will say it's Big Black C***suckers, other will say Greatly Underestimated Motherf***ing Sexists, etc. It's "Alliancism".

Cities War Football League

The league is in BigCAS, but it's still not over. After some stumbles, the teams are once again getting tighter in the leadership.

BigCAS won the Cup of War with a 2-1 against Albanian United.

Poughkeepsie United won the Champions League with a 3-0 against NSTC Tigers.

Union Berlin won the Europa League with a 1-0 against CC Mega Team.
