CWNews coming back? And the CWFL?

After months of activity due to capture by the now dismantled local regime of Offendinland (don't try searching that up on Cities War, kids), the owner of the channel has tried to make time with all the obligations going on. With his return, does it mean CWNews is back?

Several Factors

Well, we got to consider several factors of how and why CWNews should come back. First, we got to consider that we all grow up and leave the things we like a lot. Having said this, it is not new that the Cities War of today is not the same as last year, less the year of the Drewsades. So, is CWNews really needed in a time where there is almost peace, just players playing around? Several great players have left the game due to the inactiveness of the game and personal life.

However, some events are newsworthy, as the regional wars promoted by the god of the game, Willy, and other warlords. There's also the fact that Asia has become "the new Europe". Then there's regional disputes some people find newsworthy. But is there enough to make a bi-weekly report of news?

Then there's the factor of time. Can the owner find time to make news, or even to be in the game? The news team has basically and unofficially dismantled, with NTE leaving officially from the game due to higher education. Others from the team are dedicated to that or to other personal projects. So basically it's almost just the owner depending on dedication and other news outlets, and of course the welcomed donation of information from the CW players.

The return of CWNews is not out of the picture, as you can see in this report. However, it will not as much activity as it had before. Sucks but it's reality. It's what happened to the Avocado News, and to the Cities War Chronicles. And it's what's eventually happening in CWNews, just more slowly and with some pops of dedication turning up.

Taking the time here, whoever wants to join the CWNews team to help in the continuous effort of bringing news (either comedy or actual news) to the Cities War players are welcome, and can contact Drk for details.

Kicking Balls coming back?

The Cities War Football League is in a better light of coming back, being the most-awaited entertainment of CW players outside of Cities War itself.

And it's that in these last few days, the CW teams have been releasing kits in await of the new season, Season VI. The Cities War League has been updating their official website to include stats of the teams and a full register of the league and cup titles. Here is the website:

Now, does that mean that Season VI is really coming back? Very likely, as the CWFL Board are speaking about opening up transfer season and updating the players' Overall Ratings over the next few days. However, this doesn't mean there is a certain date for Season VII. It's under consideration. In the meantime, CWFL plans to post the players' ovrs soon in the site, along with awards players have won in previous league/cup editions.

Another Discord?

After those wonderful sabotages that killed the old CWNews server and all the great memories from there, we are excited to announce that the new CWNews Discord server is open! Just to spin some activity that otherwise in other servers are dead (death which will happen to this server as well :))
