Cities War is officially in a coalition war.

The Department of the United Asia Coalition's Diplomacy, led by Director General BakaBento, has announced engagement of hostilities with the Caspian Initiative, due to "new evidence of a Caspian plan to undermine our relations." Read more on the declaration provided by the director general and reported by the Imperial Post here.

The United Asia Coalition is currently formed by Sakura, Roma, Vietnam, and NSTC. Sakura and Vietnam are now allies even though there are reported problems in Hanoi and Manila. The Vietnamese, the Japanese, and the weebs hope these problems are resolved and do not escalate. Cummitment Sands (now renamed Dessoles and led by ReedyTurnip) applied to join the coalition, and is still on its way to be voted to its entry. It is very probable to be denied.

The Caspian Initiative, formed because of anti-Roma sentiment, was made by Noobheim, Viktoria, and Oi as Empress of the defunct Imperio Oriental. However, many events have killed the initiative it once had, and now its members are: Noobheim, Project 40, Javanese Kingdom, and Chappie Army.

  • First of all, Imperio Oriental was divided into 2 factions: Oi (supported war) and Alau (didn't support war). After 2 weeks, Alau undeclared war, but then Oi smashed armies to the Roman border. Seeing this Roma pet (Neko) retaliated popping the border about 7 times trying to find the capital. Then the capital, Montevideo, was captured by Simon and the Roman flag flew over it, symbolizing the death of Imperio. Oi left the Initiative due to this defeat, and the high class of Imperio decided to leave for Cascadia, the revived alliance. Therefore, the Uruguayan empire is dead.

  • Second, Project 40 holds an NAP with Sakura and Roma, and reason is speculated to be because of "based leader Lewangoalski." However, we don't know as of yet how that would turn out with the new declaration of war by the United Asia coalition. (Q broke Roma's NAP with Project 40, but it is not known if Furinick supports this.)

  • Third, once the war declaration came out, Viktoria announced in their outlet "Nordspapier Viktoria" that they would leave the Caspian Initiative and join the New Warsaw Pact.

The New Warsaw Pact's current membership is: Soviet_Union, Communist Cyprus, FARC-EP, Sticklandia, United Europe, C.M.U, C.P.I.M. and recently Viktoria. They are still not involved with any war against the United Asia coalition as of yet. Soviet Union recently celebrated Victory Day (the day the Soviets won against the Nazis) with a big terr opening itself to Yao:

Analysts have mentioned how the game is really one faction, even when Noobheim boasts about having one max. However, it would be a nuisance to have nukes raining on cities, theoretically. They can also take advantage of a pop attack, like the one Roma recently had with Dylan (co-leader of Cascadia), and a wipe Qwe has been thinking about. Even though it wouldn't cause damage, it would be an extra problem Roma would have to handle.

Analysts expect the coalition war to not be that intense, with clear winners already known by the world community.
