Liz Cheney, the 3rd leader in the House GOP, has been criticizing President Donald Trump. But now it seems they've gotten tired of her.

For months the push to drop Liz Cheney from her leadership position have been ongoing, with an initial fail. But now with her anti-Trump comments being divisive for the REpublican Party, many more are starting to join the movement, including Kevin McCarthy.

“There is no way that Liz will be conference chair by month’s end,” one key McCarthy ally told The Hill on Monday.“ When there is a vote, it won’t be a long conference; it will be fast. Everyone knows the outcome,” the ally said.

A hot mic incident reported by Axios Tuesday signaled the House GOP leader’s growing frustration with Cheney. “I've had it with her. You know, I've lost confidence,” McCarthy told a Fox News host in an off-camera exchange. “Well, someone just has to bring a motion” to oust her, he continued, “but I assume that will probably take place."

And now a woman, a representative from New York, has come to take her position: Elise Stefanik. She has defended Trump during the first impeachment trial.

House Minority Whip Steve Scalise offered the second endorsement for her.

"'House Republicans need to be solely focused on taking back the House in 2022 and fighting against Speaker Pelosi and President Biden’s radical socialist agenda, and Elise Stefanik is strongly committed to doing that, which is why Whip Scalise has pledged to support her for Conference Chair,' Scalise’s spokesperson, Lauren Fine, said in a statement. "

And now the powerful endorsement of Donald Trump has come, straight from his desk.

"Liz Cheney is a warmongering fool who has no business in Republican Party Leadership. We want leaders who believe in the Make America Great Again movement, and prioritize the values of America First. Elise Stefanik is a far superior choice, and she has my COMPLETE and TOTAL endorsement for GOP Conference Chair. Elise is a tough and smart communicator!"

With this ends a short era of leadership by Liz Cheney. But this is just the first step from a MAGA takeover, the America First takeover.
