- The Sulawesi Timesballeater45 is now a civilian reporter from New Delhi, no longer a puppet of the Sulawesi Bureau of Propaganda (SBP) The regions, which function as states, are based off of the official N.S.T.C regions map by Pakistan, so dont be suprised by the names With that, all stories are written from the educated perspective of a political active civilian in the Coalition's borders (Pen name: balleater45). All stories are meant to tell events that happen in game, with some fictional story elements added. (No paki doesnt have a palace in medina, but he has in fact come back) Said elements are not meant to detract or distract from the truth, and instead act to make the story feel larger. I will not lie, I do enjoy the ramblings and lore dumps from the noobs and the lechites, as strange as they are. Hope to find more of you reading these. balleater45Like
- The Sulawesi TimesNew N.S.T.C Leader, starbucksiswron, held a meeting with the remaining Regional Governors of the Coalition in Fortress Jakarta the day after he assumed Leadership. An interesting sentiment was shared among the governors, the Farrukhabad Proclamation was right. The Sultan, Pakistan, finally exited the palace in Medina. Two days after starbucks assumed leadership of the Coalition. While the governors do not resent the Sultan as a leader, and in fact do still respect him, some believe the future of the Coalition is best left in starbuck's hands. Having understood the situation that may arise, Leader starbucksiswron proposed a second leadership referendum and has seemingly held off on enacting more changes to the Coaltion. This time posing the question of whether or not he shall return Leadership to Pakistan. The voting is currently ongoing. Histrically, N.S.T.C has only held 1 Leadership Election. This was at the end of starbucks' extended term in November 2021 and decided the new "permanent" Leader of the Coalition, which Pakistan won. What the results could mean for the Coalition in the near future are unknown, if Pakistan is to regain his leadership will the governors recieve the changes they anticipate, or will it be more of the same? How will the politics of CitiesWar change if starbucks, a prolific Coalition revanchist, is to remain in permanent power? The situation is not tense, so much as it is exciting. Regardless of who wins, a new chapter is preparing to be written for the North Sulawesi Treaty Coalition. balleater45, reporting from New Delhi, Governance of North Western India, N.S.T.CLike
- The Sulawesi TimesThe following is a transcript of a radio broadcast from starbucksiswron,The Malay Governor, in Farrukhabad, Governance of North Western India, N.S.T.C. "The Palace of the Sultan has kept its doors closed for far too long. For years Sulawesi has found its self in wars it simply could not win, with that, never should there be a time where we do not have a voice to look to, someone to put us on the path once more. That is why on this day, October 15th, 2023, I have made it so I have regained Leadership of the North Sulawesi Treaty Coalition. It was not since the winter of 2021 that I gave this position to Pakistan and advocated for him to become the permanent Leader of Sulawesi. A decision we made as an alliance. I will not say that Pakistan was a poor leader, he was a great one, he simply seems to no longer have the time to be our leader. I am not aware of his situation and so I cannot fault him for his disappearance. N.S.T.C persisted under him as much as I would hope it would've. I led us through the 501st War, he led us out. In this unceremonious passing of the flame, I hope that Paki understands this rather unexpected action, and that my alliance believes it was worth it. Whether it is reverting changes made by Pakistan, or bringing new ideas into the alliance. Change is coming. What we lack in raw power we make up for in persistence. I hope that one day every Sulawesian that comes after us is as loyal as I am and as my alliance mates are. That when the hard times come, as they will, that we do not run away and never come home, that we do not betray the flag we fight for. But instead we make sure that whatever enemy we face makes sure it regrets having ever set foot in our crosshairs. I will speak more on my vision at a later date. For now, the flame is mine once more, and I will not let it reduce to a smoldering pile of ash again." (balleater45 has no comment on the situation yet) balleater45Like
