Following the ultimatum announced on Friday (August 26th) by Ainu Republic leadership against the de facto Sakura Alliance, a decisive victory was accomplished today in the areas surrounding Shanghai and Taipei. At approximately 8pm GMT, an attack was launched from several Ainu members on the key cities of Shanghai and its metropolitan satellite cities (including Nantong, Suzhou, Wenzhou, etc) as well as Taipei. The attack comes after Ainu Leadership warned that offensive action committed against Ainu cities above the Qingdao parallel would result in the annexation of Sakura’s eastern front. While the streets of Tokyo, Seoul, and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk rejoice the triumph, leadership acknowledges the work that must continue in order to restore peace to the once stable region.
