Study Sakura #2: The Regions

Welcome back to another issue of Study Sakura! This miniseries will continue till I run out of material. Today we will talk about the four regions(and one unorganized territory). All regions are also affiliated with a region "waifu" which was chosen by region members when the regions were first created. Regions were first created to organize members into "squads" for quicker responses to outside threats(especially Drewsaders at the time). In its current form, it is only used for ceremonial purposes and for friendly competition between regions. All these wonderful flags were created by Sakura member MisterSensei(excellent artist). North Japan

Region Waifu: Hatsune Miku

Description: North Japan, one of the three founding regions, is home to Emperor Vivid. Before the founding of The Sakura Pact, he was just a humble farmer in the region. Once a hotspot for Drewsader activity, it is now completely organized by The Sakura Pact. MisterSensei, one of the members of Sakura's Imperial Consul, is affiliated with North Japan. The region waifu Hatsune Miku was chosen by MisterSensei.

East Japan/Tokyo Metro

Region Waifu: Kaguya Shinomiya Image Provided by Vivid

Description: East Japan, also known as the Tokyo Metro before region organization, is also one of the three founding regions. It is known to be the region that Vivid is affiliated with and the starting region of BakaBento. On the day of the Drewsades, the day The Sakura Pact was created, this area was hotly contested between established alliances like The Resistance, The Black Sun, NSTC, and the Overseers against Drewsader alliances. The region waifu of East Japan/Tokyo Metro, Kaguya Shinomiya, was chosen by Vivid.

Central Japan

Region Waifu: Neko Fujinomiya

Description: Central Japan, the third and final founding region, was created when Sakura forces in the Tokyo Metro were ousted by veteran alliances during the Drewsades. It was considered a crucial region because it was considered as a stepping stone for conquering South Japan. Central Japan is known for its high levels of defense capability and contributes greatly to homeland defense. BakaBento is currently affiliated with Central Japan. Fujinomiya, a city in Central Japan, is dedicated to the region waifu Neko Fujinomiya. The region waifu of Central Japan, Neko Fujinomiya was chosen by BakaBento South Japan

Region Waifu: Tanya von Degurechaff

Description:

South Japan is the fourth and final region located on the Japanese archipelago. It was considered the final step in the Japan reunification plan created by Sakura since its creation. South Japan was the region where Sakura used its new knowledge on warfare to defeat the growing Drewsader force in South Japan(stopped use of mixed weapons and m16, the weakest weapon before buff). Kevlord is affiliated with South Japan and South Japan has a friendly rivalry with North and Central Japan. This region is known for supporting war with Yao(especially KevLord) and is home to most of Sakura's offensive power. The region waifu of South Japan, Tanya von Degurechaff, was chosen by Kevlord. The Outside Territories

Description:

The Outside Territories is a unorganized region of Sakura first created to organize territory once controlled by the Overseers, an alliance that controlled Korea and Manchuria. Due to the chaotic nature of China, no plans to organize the territories were made(with exceptions to the United Korea, Manchuria, and Sino districts). The Outside Territories does not have a region waifu as it is not a proper region and did not exist at the time of region waifu selection. Thank you for reading this issue of Study Sakura.
