As restructuring of United Asia continues, the election for Deputy-General, second in command of United Asia, has concluded. Winning 4-1 against Canada of Sakura, Albert of Roma is now the first Deputy-General of Sakura. Voting to place members in the Department of Coalition Diplomacy will start in the coming weeks. Another vote also occured regarding a name change. Due to United Asia's influence now extending past it's home continent of Asia, a name change to something not related to Asia was proposed. It was a close race but it was rejected 4-3. As new elections start to begin, stay tuned for more issues of The Imperial Post, the premier news network of the Empire and the Asia-Pacific.
